Showcasing bison to Chefs at SIAL
Noble Premium Bison joins the Canadian Bison Association at SIAL Oct 15-19 in Paris, France
CALGARY (September 27, 2022) – Since 1964, SIAL has been uniting and exciting hospitality suppliers, experts and enthusiasts from over 200 countries around the world. After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, SIAL is back in Paris, with a spectacular showcase of food trends, talks and technology. Noble Premium Bison will be there to showcase its Canadian bison products and story at a booth hosted by the Canadian Bison Association, Canada Beef and Canada Pork.
“In this environment of a post-pandemic recovery, extreme weather disruptions, escalating inflation, and the impact of war in Ukraine, the hospitality sector continues to be challenged,” says Kelly Long, CEO and Partner. “We’re looking forward to connecting with our European clients again, and showcasing our products to chefs who haven’t yet committed to a robust bison program for their menus.”
When it comes to attracting and keeping patrons, chefs and restaurateurs are looking for every advantage in their business. Sourcing unique protein products like Noble Premium Bison, that are sustainable and raised humanely without harm to the environment, is key to growing customer loyalty.
“If our sales are any indication, we’re feeling optimistic about the hospitality industry again,” says Long. “We’re seeing real excitement from chefs who want a premium meat product with a story they can get behind, and quality they can count on. We’re committed to raising our bison regeneratively, and helping chefs ‘elevate the plate’ with both our classic and creative cuts.”
This year at SIAL, Noble will be offering small tasting plates of premium cuts, prepared by Canadian Chef Mathieu Paré. “There is so much value in bison beyond the great taste and nutrition story,” says Long. “Chefs want to know where their products come from, how and where the animals are raised, and the impact on the environment. We’re proud to be part of a Canadian bison industry that makes regeneration a priority.”
