Noble Premium Bison joins Land to Market

As part of an ongoing commitment to address climate change and heal the planet, Noble Premium Bison is aligning with a recognized leader in land health.

Noble Premium Bison is a new member in Land to Market, the world’s first verified sourcing solution for regenerative agriculture. This partnership begins Noble’s journey towards supplying Land to Market-verified regenerative bison meat to customers and consumers. Regenerative agriculture is a nature-based approach that goes far beyond sustainability to continuously improve the entire ecosystem — soil, water, air and animals.

“We’ve been practicing regenerative agriculture on our ranches in Canada since we started raising bison,” said Doug Griller, Producer and Partner of Noble Premium Bison. “We know that improving land health doesn’t happen overnight—it takes years of dedication and commitment to really make a difference. We’re excited to work with Land to Market and use the scientific protocol, Ecological Outcome VerificationTM (EOV) to help us go beyond our own learnings. Our goal is to create a healthier environment by targeting the grazing lands using science-based management knowledge, and to share those measurable outcomes with our producer partners,” continued Griller.

“We’re pleased to partner with Noble Premium Bison whose ranchers are impacting over 9,000 acres of Canadian grassland with holistically managed bison,” said David Rizzo, Co-CEO of Land to Market. “We look forward to helping them continuously improve along their regenerative journey,” continued Rizzo.

Land to Market works directly with farmers, ranchers and other raw material producers using EOV, a scientific protocol that measures land health and verifies whether farmland is in a state of regeneration or degeneration. EOV was developed by the nonprofit Savory Institute, together with Michigan State University, Texas A&M, Ovis 21, The Nature Conservancy and others.

As farmers and ranchers implement practices that regenerate their land, EOV measures the environmental impact and provides feedback for continuous improvement. As more land is regenerated, more vegetation is grown and more CO2 is removed from the atmosphere — helping to reduce temperature shifts caused by rising carbon in the atmosphere. In this way, regenerative agriculture has a critical role to play in addressing climate change.

Products with the Land to Market seal are sourced from farms and ranches showing positive environmental outcomes through EOV. With the Land to Market seal, consumers can have confidence that the materials in the products they purchase have been scientifically proven to heal the earth.

“Supplying our retailers and customers with Verified Land to Market bison products is a goal we look forward to achieving,” said Kelly Long, CEO and Partner of Noble Premium Bison. “As the first bison producer in Canada to join Land to Market, we’re excited to showcase the positive impact of our regenerative agriculture practices, and offer our customers high-quality, sustainable bison products,” continued Long.

More and more, food choices are about values, not More and more, food choices are about values, not just what’s on the nutrition label.

People want to know where their food comes from, how it’s raised, and what kind of impact it has on the planet.

That’s where bison as a meat protein is unique.

Deeply rooted in Canada, bison are naturally regenerative, and raised in a way that works with the land, not against it.

As meat prices climb at the grocery store, value matters more than ever.

Bison is responsibly raised, and tied to the long-term health of our Canadian grasslands. And that nutrition profile is pretty darn impressive too! Now that’s a good food story 😀#eatbettereatbison

Through our partnership with @landtomarket, we’re Through our partnership with @landtomarket, we’re able to put science behind what ranchers have known for generations—that healthy soil means healthy everything.

Their EOV protocols track real environmental outcomes like soil health, biodiversity, and water retention, helping us see exactly how our regenerative practices are making a difference on the ground.

Those measurements confirm what we see every day: when bison graze the way nature intended, the land responds—healthier soils, stronger grasses, and the return of birds, pollinators, and native plants that all play a vital role in a thriving prairie ecosystem.

Regenerative agriculture is the future of food. A Regenerative agriculture is the future of food.

And it certainly guides everything we do at Noble. Bison, through their natural patterns, play an essential role in restoring the grassland they graze on. But we wanted to do more. In 2021, we partnered with @landtomarket and adopted their Ecological Outcome Verification protocols to measure and track our progress in soil and water health, ground cover and biodiversity - year over year.

What’s good for the bison sustains the land—and what sustains the land sustains us all.
