Noble joins the Canadian Bison Association at ANUGA

The leading global food fair for the food and beverage industry

ANUGA is once again bringing innovative products and concepts together from around the world. Noble Premium Bison will be showcasing its premium Canadian bison products and story at a booth hosted by the Canadian Bison Association, Canada Beef and Canada Pork.

Kelly Long and Doug Griller at the Noble bison ranch in Saskatchewan

“Sales of bison meat at retail in Canada grew almost 200% in 2020,” says Kelly Long, CEO and Partner. “We believe Noble played a substantial role in educating consumers about the benefits of bison meat. With hospitality restrictions lifting, distribution to our European customers at both retail and wholesale has grown as well. We’re excited to show customers the value of Noble Premium Bison as a product – and as a supplier.”

Chefs and restauranteurs are looking for every gain in their business when it comes to attracting and keeping patrons. Sourcing unique protein products like Noble Premium Bison, that are sustainable and raised humanely without harm to the environment, is key to growing customer loyalty.

The Canadian Bison Association and Noble Premium Bison participated at ANUGA in 2019, welcoming visitors to a trade fair that hosted nearly 170,000 visitors from around the world. This year at ANUGA, Noble will be offering small tasting plates of premium cuts, prepared by Canadian Chef Cameron Pappel. “There is so much value in bison beyond the great taste and nutrition story,” says Long. “Chefs want to know where their products come from, how and where its raised, and the impact it has on the environment. We’re proud to be part of a Canadian bison industry that makes regeneration a priority.”

The centrepiece of a trade fair is personal contact and ANUGA is prepared to welcome visitors safely and efficiently. In coordination with health organizations, ANUGA has developed numerous measures to ensure professional safety at the highest level, and create an environment in which people and businesses can interact with confidence.
